Abstract

This paper will analyze how climate change and habitat loss have impacted the migration behavior and population of migratory species. As the world becomes hotter and the environment deteriorates, migratory species are experiencing serious problems with their usual migration routes and habitats. The major aim of this study is to determine the effects of climate-related changes on the timing, pathways, and success of migratory movements, as well as the general stability of the population, including changes in temperature, shifts in precipitation, and habitat destruction. Some applicable methods include using GPS and satellite location to monitor migratory species, and simulating the impacts of climate and population trends based on field observations and demographic analysis. The findings show that many species are shifting their migration timing and routes in response to changing environmental signals, creating mismatches between migration timing and resource availability. Also, habitat loss is reducing breeding and feeding areas, contributing to declining populations of particular species. These results imply an urgent need to implement conservation measures that mitigate climate change, preserve habitat, and establish adaptive migration pathways to enhance the survival of migrating species.
