Abstract

Pest control is essential for agricultural productivity and food security. Traditional methods rely heavily on synthetic insecticides, which often lead to pest resistance, environmental degradation, and health hazards. To address these concerns, there is growing interest in synergistic combinations of botanical extracts and synthetic insecticides. Botanical extracts, derived from plants, offer a natural alternative with insecticidal properties. When combined with synthetic chemicals, these natural products can enhance efficacy, reduce the required doses of synthetic insecticides, and minimize adverse environmental impacts.
