Factors such as feeding habits, host selection, and environmental influences shape these behaviors, leading to varying transmission dynamics. Result: This paper reviews key findings on the role of insect behavior in pathogen transmission, including feeding preferences of various insect vectors, their movement patterns, and the impact of environmental conditions on these behaviors. Insects play a critical role in the transmission of plant pathogens, influencing disease dynamics through their behavioral interactions with host plants. This paper explores how insect behavior affects the epidemiology of plant diseases and highlights implications for management strategies. Conclusion: Understanding insect behavior is essential for developing effective integrated pest management strategies.
