METHOD DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION OF FINERENONE IN BULK AND TABLET DOSAGE FORM BY HPLC

Abstract

A simple, selective, precise and accurate HPLC method was developed and validated for the estimation of finerenone in bulk and its formulations. The mobile phase consist of a mixture of methanol and 0.05% OPA in the proportion 70:30. The HPLC analysis of finerenone was carried out at a wavelength of 225 nm with a flow rate of 0.7 ml/min. The linear regression analysis data for the calibration curve showed a good linear relationship with a regression coefficient of 0.9996. The linear regression equation was y=47.467x +12.088. The developed method was found to be precise, accurate and was used for the estimation of finerenone in bulk and its tablet formulation.
