Effect of different dilution of Fresh Cow Milk and Hydro-priming Of Sea Water On Seed Germination Of Glycine max L.

To meet the demand for an appropriate soaking duration and priming type, there is a need to embrace cheap, fast, natural, accessible, and adaptable physiological techniques as soaking of seeds in fresh cow milk(FCM) and sea water (SW). Fresh cow milk contains hormones that relieve seeds physiological and mechanical dormancy. In light of this, this study was conducted to assess the effect of fresh cow milk and hydration on different seed quality attributes like Germination percentage, Mean germination time, Germination rate, Mean daily germination, Germination , Coefficient of germination velocity, Germination value, Peak value. The study involved two factors, different hydropriming of sea water and different concentrations of fresh cow milk (0.0, 25%,50% 75% and 100%) and the other factor was seed soaking duration with 3 levels (6, 12 and 24 hours). Result revealed that the percentage germination and germination rate and mean daily germination value of seeds soaked in all concentrations of fresh cow milk for time 6,12 hour of was increases in GP%, MDG, GR, CGV in higher concentration 75,100% compared to control. The percentage germination % and GR and MDG and CGV for all concentrations and treatment times for seeds soaked in sea water. The result revealed that decreases of same parameters for soaking duration 6,12 hour in higher concentration of sea water.
