Nematode parasites of Penaeus indicus gut in Jask
Abstract
In this survey, 50 brooder Indian white shrimp (Penaeus indicus) caught from Jask area in the Persian Gulf. After freezing specimens, transferred them to laboratory and investigated for parasitic nematode and they were visibled with eye. Nematodes, separated from remainder gut contents, then coloration and fixed by the help of light microscope and acquaintace keys. They were identified to genus level. The genus of nematode was Hysterothy lacuim. For statistical study we used (One way ANOVA) and SPSS software. From 50 samples that experimented in this test in 27 cases nematodes observed. The result indicated that in ٥٤ present of all breeders nematode parasitic was observed.
