This study was conducted on coastal waters of Golestan province in ٢٠٠٤. The relationship between body weight–fork length and Age–fork length for all samples were obtained: W= ١٫٥ × ١٠-٣ FL ٢٫١٢٠٠, (r = ٠٫٨٢١٠) and FL = ١٣٩٫٦٣٠, Age٠٫٣٣٧٢, (r = ٠٫٨٣١٣).
In this research growth formula and its parameters was estimated: Lt = ٣٣٫٤٨[١-exp-٠٫٢٥٠ (t + ٠٫٣٧٨) ], L = ٣٣٫٤٨cm, k = ٠٫٢٥٠, to = -٠٫٣٧٨.
The average of condition factor for male and female were obtained ١٫٢٥٦±٠٫٢٦٤٠ and ١٫٠٣٣±٠٫٢٤٥٦, respectively. Samples were at ٧ different age classes (٢-٨ years) and the most fish numbers (٥١٫٣٠٪) which involved were ٣ and ٤ years old. ٧٧٫٤٥٪ of samples were female and ٢٢٫٥٤٪ of them were male so sexual–ratio was obtained: ١:٣٫٥٣ (male:female). GSI peak for female at first of forth week in April was (٢١٫٨٣٤٥) and male at the end of third week in March was (٨٫٢٧٢٠). The Minimum, maximum and mean of absolute fecundity were estimated: ٤٢٣٩, ٨٥١٨٧, ٢٠٨٩١ ova, respectively.
